Our Services
At Dillard Eye, we focus on YOU, the individual. An unhurried approach is taken so that your vision can be treated with special care. We want your visit to be pleasant and to move along smoothly because your time is important... not only to you, but to us as well. In order to do this, you are offered a wide variety of services using the latest technology.
Insurance
We participate with many insurance companies. Please check with your insurance company to find out about your coverage for vision and/or eye services. Payment for services requested are the responsibility of the patient regardless of insurance coverage OR our participation with an insurance company. Any charges not covered by insurance are the responsibility of the patient. We do not participate in any discount eye glass plans. Value is of much better quality when shared by only two. Discount eye glass plans cause the quality to have to be split between three entities, the patient, the doctor, and the discount plan.
Our Patients
Our practice is "family" oriented. This means we see all age patients for any and all eye health and vision related needs. We now treat the grandchildren of patients who started with us back in 1973 and were patients of Dr. Walker H. Matthews who started this practice waaaaaay back in 1937.

- For nearsighted patients we offer Wave Orthokeratology, a method of reshaping the cornea (corneal molding) through night wear rigid contact lenses, designed to place the eye's focus on the retina so glasses are not needed for distance vision. Unlike laser vision correction, Ortho-K is safe and reversible... even for children age 8 and older. Rxs up to -7.50 are successful.
